Another Great Deal!!
I don't know what it is: Maybe it's that the holiday season is upon us and I'm spending more than ever (and trying to save more than ever!) or maybe it's just because I like a good deal. Who knows?! The fact is that I saved a lot of $$ at the grocery store today - all thanks to coupons & specials (and even freebies)! Check it out. This is what I bought all for $50!!!

Yep, that's right. $50 bucks! $100 worth of groceries for half the price! Even all of the fruit in the basket! Some of these things I don't normally buy at the grocery store like bakery cookies, hamburger helper, bleach, saran wrap, hand soap and store-brand pretzels but they were either FREE or I paid practically nothing for them. I am a big fan of Sprouts & Trader Joes for certain items (produce, meats). Shout out to Dean because he's a big fan of White Castle burgers and if I happen to go to the grocery and NOT pick up a box, then it's all over for me. ;)
Preferred Savings: $33.85
MFG Coupon Savings: $6.40
Store Coupon Savings: $4.49
Total Savings: $44.74
Total bill: $50.25
Happy Savings Holidays!

Flower Hair Clips
All This for $.89!!!!
Yes, you heard me right! I just got back from Kohl's and spent a whopping 89 cents on all of this! It doesn't seem like much, but it's a much needed fruit bowl (Food Network brand) and some Santa wrap for Christmas (100 yds ea.). I am a bargain shopper. PERIOD. I love a good bargain and I LOVE COUPONS!!! So, I used my Kohl's cash and a 15% off coupon and the grand total was $.89!

It's official! I've FINALLY ordered business cards for Arden's Garden. Honestly, I don't know why I've procrastinated so much in ordering them. People ask all the time about things I've made and I have nothing to give them. Hopefully, this will bring a lot more people to the blog to see all of my handmade goodies.

Hairbow/Clip Holder
OK, so my camera isn't the best at taking clean pictures....or....maybe it's just that I can't take a decent picture. But, you get the idea. :) As you can imagine (especially if you have a little girl!), Arden's bedroom dresser is in total disarray with all of her hair accessories. I had to figure out a way to get them organized & keep it stylish. Thankfully, with a little searching I found a really cute idea! I just used a cute frame, scrapbook paper, ribbon & some hot glue and....voila!

Tutu Cute!
I made this tutu for my daughter. Thankfully, she absolutely LOVES it! It was so easy to make and I'm hoping to handmake one just for someone you know & love!
This one is made with purple & white tulle and purple grosgrain with an adjustable waist. starting @ $15.-
**after getting some feedback, I added more tulle to make it more FLUFFY! I have to admit, it does look better. I'll re-post soon!**

Introducing Diaper Cakes!!
This is a diaper cake that I made for my sisters baby shower. I also do plain one's (with ribbon/bows only) without all of the little extra goodies. Those of course, cost a bit less.
This cake is made with newborn size diapers, and includes: 2 pacifiers, pacifier holder, travel size soap & lotion, car seat toy, baby bottles, washcloths, handmade hairclips, and a handmade "K" personalized especially for baby. This one costs $50.

Draft Dodger
Here's one example of a draft dodger. Keeps the cold drafts out as well as the warmth in. Great on saving energy during the winter AND summer months. It's weighted down so it stays put. Plus, it adds a little character to your home. ;)
