Here's one example of a draft dodger. Keeps the cold drafts out as well as the warmth in. Great on saving energy during the winter AND summer months. It's weighted down so it stays put. Plus, it adds a little character to your home. ;)

Welcome to my blog and newest adventure!! Welcome to Arden's Garden!!

My story is quite simple. I started creating handmade hair accessories for my daughter, Arden one day after shopping at a local boutique. I was astounded that a small clip for a baby was going for over $10. I thought about it over and over in my head....I'd have to spend over $200. just to start a decent collection of hair accessories for my little girl. And, how much money would I actually be spending over the years (especially during those expensive tween years! YIKES)?! I didn't even want to think about it.

It was Christmas time and I made a cute Christmas Tree hair clip for Arden. We went to the San Diego Zoo for their annual 'Jungle Bells'. Well, time after time someone wanted to know where I purchased that hair clip. And the light bulb went off!!! ;) Why not make some and try and sell them?! My goal is to keep prices low and create handmade accessories for yourself, your little one's or as a great gift!

So, here we are. I've just started a small inventory of items that I sell for everyone to view on my blog. I sure hope you like what you see! If you do, then just contact me and let me know what I can do for you.

I also make other items such as; woven headbands, burp clothes, draft dodgers, and miniature blankies for babies. I will post pictures as often as I can with new items, fabrics, grosgrain's, etc....
